Golden Retriever Training is fun because this is one of the most trainable breed of canines. There are a lot of things that you can add in your training list of your dog. A lot of owners think that teaching every command and tricks to their dog is a time of waste and is a unnecessary task. But there are certain trainings and command that you must teach your dog. Teaching them these tricks will help you as well as it will help your pet. Teach your dog to stroll properly. Just suppose that you and your dog is walking in the streets and your dog doesn’t pull you or hit you. If it really happens then that means your dog has been properly trained for walking.

There are some important tips given below by which you can easily guide your dog to walk with you effectively and nicely:
Take your retriever out and give him a 4-foot lead
Make him sit on your left and take the lead in your hands and move it forward. After a time you have to resist him from pulling the rope. When he starts pulling stop walking instantly and don’t move at all. When he doesn’t pull anymore give him treat as reward and praise him.

Whenever he starts pulling use the golden retriever training method
Your dog may not get the idea properly and is pulling you while walking then stop your walk and then start walking again. You can also take some treats in your bag for your dog. This is very effective to make your dog walk better. Whenever he walks perfectly give him treat. And by giving treat you could also know them about your desired behavior.
Walk in different directions to check him
You should walk zigzag so that you can know that how good is your dog walking with you. Keep walking and notice that how much focused is your dog on you and return to the same place from where you started walking.
Use head halter for better control
Head haler looks like horse’s bridle. The benefit of using this toll is it can easily control the whole body of the dog. It is set on the dogs head. So the body automatically follows the head. And the dog has no chance of pulling when it has been set on his head.
The training methods given here should be followed if you want your dog to have a perfect walk. But you must be patient and consistent to make your pooch walk nicely.
